Effect of Music And How to Stop listening to it.

1.You must have a clean intention: Make a decision in your heart to stop listening to Music because its haram and its a Devil's scheme to ruin you.
2.Delete all the Music in your Library : You can do this by  following the Steps below
(I) Downside your Music Library to only Song you are currently Listening To…
(ii)If you follow this cycle, you will be left with few Songs in your Library. When you listen to those few Music, eventually  you began to skip tracks because you get bored
of listen to them so many times, so instead of skipping the tracks you better delete them because you are not listening to them.
3.So now that you are left with Zero Music on your Library, You got to Replace it with Quran Recitations, Choose a reciter you Love and started listening to him.
4.Listen to Short Surahs and Start Memorizing them, Alternate them in your Salah To permanent them in to your memory.
5.If you don’t know how to read Quran. Ask Family and friends To Teach you. And whenever you are listening to a reciter carry a Mushaf (copy of Quran) with you and follow the recitation. This will takes you further in your Connection with Al-Quran.
[Note: This is not an advice recommended in Quran, hadith or by a Scholar, it was just recommended by a brother( br. Adnan)  on YouTube,  And I found it very helpful, so I decided to transcribe the video and share it with you. ]
